But the accolades don’t end there.
In a recent study by the Globe & Mail, Burlington was ranked as the #1 Top Livable City in all of Ontario, and 5th overall in Canada. The study showed that Burlington had high ratings for raising kids, welcoming young professionals and newcomers, midlife transitions, and retirement. It was the only city to even make the top 20 list for the province of Ontario!

Interestingly, if we look at the September 2024 statistics from the Cornerstone Association of Realtors, the affordability for these property types is consistently better, except that townhomes in Burlington show a price point that is 31% less than townhomes in the City Of Toronto.

The proposal is still under review with the municipality, but the developer and city staff are working hard at turning this grand vision into reality.
