About the city
Caledon Village is located north of Brampton and south of Orangeville at the intersection of Hurontario Street (Hwy. 10) and Charleston Sideroad (Reg. Rd. 24). The hamlet has been known as Raeburn’s Corners, Charleston, Caledon and lastly Caledon Village.
The survey of Caledon Village was completed in 1820 and a post office was established in 1839 under the name of Charleston. It was renamed in 1853 to Caledon but both names continued to be used for the hamlet and both appeared in the 1877 Historical Atlas. In 1975, the popular and official name of Caledon was changed to Caledon Village to distinguish from the newly created Town of Caledon formed by Regional Government in 1974.
Transit is available in and around Caledon and the Peel Region. Check out Brampton Transit, GO Transit and Metrolinx for rates and schedules. The Town of Caledon has retained Voyago to provide local service in the Bolton area, starting November 11, 2019. The local transit line in Bolton will include 27 new bus stops along the route with service running during peak commuting hours.

Brick arches, soldier coursing, keystones, stone banding and other decorative masonry details as per applicable elevation. Classic inspired facades with generous window treatments front and rear and rooflines to enhance elevations and Convenient double-glazed sliding doors with lower level finished spaces or garden door(s) as per applicable models.
The environment considered; decorative window and door treatments. Premium glazing may include transoms and palladium windows as per applicable plan. Steel embossed exterior front door with weatherstripping and security deadbolt lock. Double-glazed low “E” glass/Argon filled maintenance free vinyl casement windows throughout complete with screens & hardware (except basement windows).
Entry features include coach type lighting on exterior, elegant front entry grip set and exterior decorative unit number, all as per applicable elevation. Site features & Landscaping
- Professionaly landscaped streetscapes and walkways. Precast slab concrete walkways to front door entry and for rear patios (where applicable). Architecturally controlled exterior finishes and colour schemes to ensure harmonious streetscape, as per Municipal requirements. Rooftop terraces and driveway paved.
